Depending on how you use our careers section, we may collect:

• Talent-map registration: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, desired role and work area, preferred location and work arrangement, experience level, a short skills introduction, and an optional CV link
• Full job applications: name, date of birth, gender, nationality, phone, WhatsApp, email, city, region and address, education and qualifications, certifications, languages, digital skills, employment status and history, experience summary, salary expectation, availability, CV link, and professional reference details
• Employer listings: company name, job title and details, salary range, and the contact person's name, email, and phone number

If you name a professional reference, please make sure they are happy for you to share their details with us.

2.3 Travel and Logistics Enquiries

When you send a travel enquiry, we collect your name, WhatsApp number, email address, where you are travelling from and to, the purpose of your trip, your planned travel date, and the details you give about the support you need. Please do not include passport numbers, financial account details, or other sensitive information in this form.

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website, we also automatically collect:

• IP address and device information
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time spent on site
• Referring website addresses
• Cookies and similar technologies

4.5 Public Job Listings

Job listings are public once published. The title, company, location, role description, requirements, and any salary range are visible to all visitors. The contact person's name, email, and phone number are used by us for follow-up and are not shown on the listing. Candidates' talent-map profiles and applications are not published on the website.

We use a range of technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Secure servers and firewalls
• Access controls and authentication
• Regular security assessments
• Staff training on data protection

While we work hard to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Job applications and travel enquiries are saved to our database first, and then a message containing your details opens in WhatsApp for you to send to us. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy practices. The application PDF you can download is created in your own browser and is not uploaded to us. Please do not send passwords, verification codes, or sensitive documents unless we have specifically asked for them.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. As a general rule, we retain loan, capital, and partnership application data for 5 years after a service ends, or 3 years after a rejected application, unless a longer period is required by law or contractual obligations. Job applications and talent-map profiles are generally kept for up to 2 years after submission or your last update, travel enquiries for up to 2 years after our last contact with you, and job listings until they are closed or removed, plus 12 months in our records. You can ask us to delete a talent-map profile, job application, or listing earlier.

7. Your Rights

Under Cameroonian data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal information
• Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Erasure — request deletion of your information, subject to our legal obligations
• Restriction — limit how we use your information
• Objection — object to certain types of processing
• Portability — receive your information in a structured, transferable format

Where we rely on your consent, for example to keep your talent-map profile or to share your application with an employer, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
