G-Spirit Ventures began in May 2020, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools across Cameroon had shut down, and with them, the routines and income that so many families depended on. Watching students and young people search for ways to stay afloat, the founder made a decision: instead of standing by, provide the capital these industrious young minds needed to start or sustain small businesses of their own.
What began as small amounts of business capital for a handful of determined students grew, over time, into something much bigger — a lending service, and then a wider platform for opportunity, that now reaches far beyond the classroom.
